Join us as we act and explore some thrilling scenes from The Witches, Scooby Doo, Harry Potter and more! Learn songs and choreography to Thriller (adapted) Monster Mash and Ghost busters! All content is appropriate and adapted for from children aged 5-12yrs.
Over the week, children will work alongside our highly qualified performing arts practitioners to receive outstanding tuition, developing their performance skills while having fun and making new friends! Our courses support and develop children’s confidence, communication and social skills through drama, singing and dance, with a performance to friends and family on Friday!
Throughout each fun-filled day children will also take part in POTION MAKING, arts and crafts, gymnastics, outdoor play and storytelling!
- Practical activities! Children are split into age-appropriate groups and material is adapted to suit each age group. Practical activities include funky warm-ups, dance, drama devising – creating creepy characters and devising their own spooky scenes! Plus lots of silly spooky drama games!
- Rehearsals: Throughout the day children will learn a variety of songs, scenes and dances with a halloween twist – in preparation for their end-of-week performance. Children are split into age-appropriate groups again for rehearsals, with content and choreography adapted for their age – providing appropriate challenge for all children.
- Playground Activity-Breaks: Including ball games, bubble-guns, parachutes, treasure hunts and more!
- Arts and crafts: Children will participate in halloween-themed arts and crafts on arrival and at intervals throughout the day including colouring, play-dough, mask-making, collages and ticket design!
- Potion making! Children will take part in a potion making workshop – sparking their creativity and imagination even further. They will choose their ingredients and be encouraged to consider smells, textures and colour as they design their own special potion and consider what happens should somebody drink it! (they won’t!)
